Meet The Family

We're going to start things our Introductions off with our youngest daughter Bailey (aka Bailey-Boo). This sweet little girl is definitely the girly-girl of the bunch. But don't let those cute little eyes fool you though, she's got some spunk to her. Bailey loves getting outside and meeting new friends and has and adventurous spirit.. If we're somewhere that involves other kids or adults, you can rest assured that this social butterfly will be right in the thick of it. Besides her social activities, Bailey also enjoys interacting with animals, collecting rocks and shells and taking gymnastics classes. Everyone, meet Bailey!

Our next introduction is Hadley (aka Hadley-Bear). She is was our first born and is very much like her father. She has a no nonsense type of personality with a punch of sarcasm. Thankfully though, she took after her mother when it comes to her academics and loves reading and learning about new things. She's usually the first one of us to pull something up on Google so she can learn more about it. Besides her love of learning, Hadley is also extremely competitive. She's ran in several races, played soccer, tennis, swim, softball and is currently taking gymnastics classes with her sister. Besides all of that, she is always trying to be a good role model for Bailey and the voice of reason for a lot of her friends. So much that sometimes we have to remind her that it's ok to be a kid. Everyone, meet Hadley!

The next introduction is the matriarch of our family and my best friend for over 23yrs now. Jennifer and I met in Sioux Falls, SD while attending High School together and have been inseparable ever since. Something most people don't know about Jennifer is that she was a collegiate tennis player and is a graduate of the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago, where she specialized in pastries and confections. Ever see those crazy desert and cake decorating shows on TV? Yep, she can do all of that. If you've ever had the chance to taste her delicious creations on the Skottle, you'll know I'm not fibbing. She's an amazing camp chef and is always pushing the boundaries of what can be made in the middle of nowhere. Speaking of the middle of nowhere, Jennifer is constantly on the search for the next adventure and is always updating a list of places to visit and explore along the way. It's not uncommon for us to meander through an area and her to pull something out of her list that is jaw dropping and amazing. I could go on forever about how amazing this woman is. She never ceases to amaze me and am deeply honored to call her my wife. Everyone, meet my best friend, Jennifer.

The final introduction in our meet the family series is yours truly. Hi, my name is Jeremy and I'm not very good at talking about myself. Something you may not know about me? I've always been very selfless and usually will put the needs of others ahead of my own. I am also a bit of a self doubter and it's something that I continually work on getting better about. I'm a mechanic by trade and I enjoy a challenge, even those that push me out of my comfort zone. My family is everything to me and I make it a point to spend as much time with them as possible. It definitely helps that I'm married to my best friend and she enjoys a lot of the same things that I do.
